Live view and captures are metered — the rest of the app is not. A subscription grants an allowance for the period it covers, and a credit pack adds more whenever you need it.

Packs are bought from inside the app, which shows you the price and what it buys before anything is charged. Credits are pooled across your whole family, and every new period starts fresh with that period’s own allowance.
