Getting started with Guardian

Two apps, one pairing code. It takes a few minutes.

Step by step

    Install Guardian on your phone

    Get the parent app from Google Play and create your account.

  2. 2

    Install Guardian Kid on the child’s phone

    Download it directly and open the installer. On Android 13+, allow restricted settings when asked.

    Grant the permissions it asks for

    Guardian Kid needs a few permissions to do its job. It explains each one as it goes.

  4. 4

    Pair the two phones

    Scan the QR code (or type the 6-character code) shown in your Guardian app.

  5. 5

    You’re set

    Set the daily limit together, and open a live view or ask for a snapshot whenever you need one.
